Lemonfield Lodge is a family run Bed & Breakfast. All rooms are ensuite and have their own television and tea/coffee making facilities.

The house is situated on the main Galway to Clifden road, just 5 minutes walk from the village of Oughterard. It is just 17 miles from Galway City. Oughterard is the gateway to Connemara and is an ideal base to tour the area.


 

Oughterard is a renouned fishing village as it is on the shores of lough Corrib. The Golf Club is just 1 mile away and there are plenty of restaurants and pubs in the village. Kylemore Abbey is a mere 45 minutes drive away and Cliften is a 1 hour drive.

Oughterard is a relaxing village and the bars usually have music almose every night during the summer where you can enjoy a pint of the famous guinness, or whatever takes your fancy.

 

 

Galway City is just 20 minutes drive away.
So really Oughterard is the ideal base to stay as you have the best of both worlds.
