ballinacourty house

Ballinacourty House is a beautifully restored 18th century building. Originally used as stables it features a coach house and haylofts, which forms
a surround for the courtyard.

The courtyard will transport you back in time.
With its original cobblestones, colourful flowerbeds and patio, it offers visitors a place to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

The original Ballinacourty House no longer exists, it was destroyed during the troubles of 1922. During the civil war the remaining building was used as headquarters by the forces of Eamon De Valera who later became president of Ireland.
