This is a lovely 1920's home, fully restored with wooden floors, private ensuites & old oak furniture. We are ideally located 1 mile from Dublin City center and 4 miles from the Airport. A great place to use as your Dublin base for a few days at the start or end of your vacation. By Taxi from the Airport: About 5 minutes and a cost of around €15
By Bus from the Airport: Ask for a Bus that will drop you in Drumcondra, near the Skylon Hotel.
Buses 16a, 33a, 33b, 33c 41a, 41b, 41c, 746 going to the City, all pass our door. You can find these buses outside the Arrivals hall at the Airport.1, 3 & 5 day bus passes can be purchased at the Tourist office in the Arrivals hall. Buses are located outside the Arrivals door The trip in to Applewood B&B will cost you about €5
By Car from the Airport:
- Drive in the M1 to Dublin City you will drive around 4 miles on the M1 Motorway
- At the end of the Motorway there will be a Church on your left.
- Drive on through Collins Ave junction and then on through Griffith Ave junction.
- We are located on left hand side of street, 3rd B&B after Griffith Ave Jnct.
From the City:
- Drive out Drumcondra Rd towards the Airport
- We are on the right hand side, just past the Skylon Hotel.
