Navan is centrally situated for visiting  Newgrange heritage site, Mellifont Abbey, Battle of Boyne site, Hill of Tara, Bective Abbey, Slane Castle, Kells, Trim Castle, Loughcrew – all of which are within 30 minutes drive.  Dublin airport is 40 minutes with direct bus to Airport every hour each day. Excellent bus service to/from Dublin city centre every 20 minutes, enjoy a days sightseeing in Dublin  without the hassle and expense of driving and parking in Dublin.

Directions:

N2  :  Take N2 to Balrath Cross (R153 / Navan).  Continue along R153 for 10 kms approximately when you will find Athlumney Manor B&B on your left.

M3:   Direction – travelling north from Dublin:  Take M3 to EXIT   8  for Navan/R147.  Turn right at 3rd traffic lights for Kentstown/R153.  Continue to  Y  junction and keep right.
            Athlumney Manor is 50 metres further on, on right.

         Direction – travelling south from Cavan :  Take N3 and then M3.  Continue along M3 to  EXIT  9 and follow directions for Navan/R147.  Continue along R147 and turn left at 4th traffic lights for
        Kentstown/R153.  Continue along R153 to  Y  junction and keep right.  Athlumney Manor is 50 metres further on, on right.

NOTE:    R147 is a relatively recent route change and this may still appear on maps as  N3
