Minnock's Bed & Breakfast is a spacious, comfortable house set in mature gardens on the N62 south, just 3km from the heritage town of Birr in Co. Offaly.

This is the ideal retreat for that well deserved break. Veronica and the Minnock family specialise in making the visitor feel welcome, comfortable and at home in this, their family dwelling. Coupled with this the Minnock family have developed an outstanding reputation for their hospitality that is only matched by the renowned culinary delights that eminate from Veronica's kitchen.
                                 

Our quality of service can be gauged by the fact that we are members of the Ely' O Carroll Tourism and are recommended by Bord Failte, the Irish Tourist Board.

At Minnock's Bed & Breakfast we strive to offer you the best in clean, warm and comfortable surroundings coupled with good Irish hospitality and cooking direct from Veronica's kitchen. Our goal is to meet your needs in a friendly, courteous and efficent manner while giving you quality accommodation in relaxed and homely surroundings.

We have a total of six rooms available for Bed & Breakfast. This comprises of 5 no. twin / double rooms and 1 no. triple room (single beds). All rooms have an en-suite provided and contain a colour television, tea & coffee making facilities, hair dryer and direct dial telephone.

The house has oil fired central heating throughout which gives a nice cosy ambience to the residence.We can cater for families and will do our best to meet any requirements that you may have. Bedrooms are non-smoking please.

The Bed & Breakfast has a large private Car Park which can accommodate up to 15 cars, and being 3km from the local town ensures that nights are peaceful, the only exception being the odd "moo" from some nearby animals. By the way, we do allow pets but would be grateful if you could contact us with details in advance as lodgings for animals such as Elephants are hard to come by in our region !
