Bayly
Farm is a delightful historic house, owned by Desmond and Jacqueline
Bayly. The house, which remains largely unchanged, but enjoys all modern
facilities, has been in the ownership of the Bayly family since it was
built in the early 19th century. A most distinguished visitor was Sir
William Rowan Hamilton, the world-famous mathematician and physicist.
He married Helen Bayly in 1833 and the couple spent their honeymoon at
Bayly Farm. Situated on a 130 acre working farm, Bayly Farm offers excellent
accommodation in a tranquil rural setting, looking towards the Silvermines
Mountains. The house stands in beautiful parkland, bordered by the Nenagh
River, all of which our guests may enjoy. Bayly Farm has three guest
rooms, two ensuite and one with private bathroom, each with magnificent
views. All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, hair drier and television.
Bayly Farm provides an excellent base for holidaying and exploring the
countryside and historical sites of central Ireland. For the sportsperson,
it is also conveniently located for accessing a wide range of facilities
and activities:
